Tata Motors, like every other auto maker in the country, wants to make the most out of this festive season. However, Tata unlike many other auto makers is all set to launch a new model to lure buyers. According to media reports the all new Tata Safari Storme launch is set to take place on October 17, 2012. This will surely boost Tata’s sales and increase the list of its trusted customers.
This new car from Tata looks to be inspired by the Range Rover owing to the fact that the Storme’s rectangular body and headlights have a striking similarity to the Rover. The interiors of this multi purpose vehicle is very sleek and has a host of comfort features with more space than the existing models. The wooden interiors on the dashboard and the door trims gives this stylish SUV a stylish look and complements with the overall look of the all new Tata Safari Storme.
Tata Safari Storme features a 2.2 litre DiCOR engine which can deliver a maximum power of 140 bhp at 320 Nm torque and comes coupled with five speed manual gearbox. The safety features have also been properly addressed in the all new Storme with ABS, disc brakes and shorter turning radius.
The Storme is basically a face-lift of its existing model; hence, there is nothing drastically different in it as far as its exteriors are concerned. The significant changes that have been made in it include the honeycomb grille and projector headlamps, apart from the ‘power bulge’ on the bonnet. A slight change on the rear has also been made with chrome-tipped twin exhausts and half greyed-out tailgate. Also, the spare tyre has been put under the SUV.
Tata Safari Storme price is expected to be competitive to reach out to maximum customers. With the host of features, elegant looks and superior performance at a reasonable price, the Storme appears to be a value for money car. The timing of its launch being the festive season should give this car a good response from the customers.
Tata Safari Storme reviews has been quite good so far as its looks and the features have left a good impression on the people. The real business it does, however, would be clear once it hits the roads.
While other car-makers are giving discounts and offering freebies, Tata has adopted a unique way of increasing its sales by launching Storme. It will, however, be interesting to see if Storme manages to increase the dipping sales of Tata.
